  3.           Gopher is a system of hierarchically arranged menus whiwh allow
  4.           you to roam the Internet.  Simple keystroke commands provide for
  5.           browsing documents, saving them in your home directory, mailing 
  6.           them to yourself (or someone else), or actual file downloads to 
  7.           your PC.  The items on a gopher menu may in reality reside on
  8.           widely separated remote comuters.  Gopher is the one indispensible
  9.           tool for doing research on the Internet.
