  6. Winsock RCMD.DLL provides a function similar to the Berkeley Sockets "rcmd"
  7. function for Windows Sockets.  This provides the ability to initiate Unix
  8. commands from within your Windows program and process any output from that
  9. command.
  10.  
  11. Winsock RCMD.DLL is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) callable from almost any
  12. language that allows DLL calls, such as C, C++, or Visual Basic.
  13.  
  14. Example programs are provided for both C and Visual Basic.  The example C
  15. program was written using Microsoft Visual C/C++ 1.0.

  21. Winsock RCP.DLL provides a function that allows you to copy files to and from
  22. remote hosts from within your programs, just like the Winsock RCP command.
  23. It also includes the recusive copy capability.

  25. Winsock RCP/RSH provide Windows Sockets compatible versions of Unix
  26. utilities of the same name.  Winsock RCP allows you to copy files to or from
  27. remote hosts or between two remote hosts, including recursive copies.  Winsock
  28. RSH allows you to execute commands on a remote host and view the output on your
  29. screen or capture the output to a file on your PC.

  31. Winsock RSHD is a Remote Shell Daemon (Server) for Windows Sockets.  It accepts
  32. command requests from remote hosts (Unix or other PC's) via the standard "rsh"
  33. command and executes them on the PC running Winsock RSHD.  It also allows file
  34. copying to and from the PC via the standard "rcp" command. A special "SendKeys"
  35. extension allows remote control of Windows programs through the standard "rsh"
  36. command, even from Unix.  Security can also be enforced.

  41. Winsock RCMD.DLL is shareware.  You can try it for thirty (30) days.  If you
  42. find it useful, you can register it using the order form included.  If you do
  43. not wish to register it, delete it from your hard disk or pass it along to a
  44. friend who may find it useful.

  46. By registering, you will receive the latest version of the product, a license
  47. to distribute RCMD.DLL with your product without royalties or any other fees,
  48. printed documentation, and support via US Mail or Compuserve.

  50. The shareware version of the product is fully functional except for the
  51. following:

  53.    * You must click on the OK button in the message window each time you use
  54.      it.  This is to remind you that you are using an unregistered version.
