  196. exemplified in these three pages.  First, Gopherspace is
  197. international in scope. Brussels, Israel, Canada, and Brazil are
  198. just a few represented in these first few pages.

  200. Generic universities' Gophers predominate, yet specialty
  201. Gophers are represented, such as bioinformatics, American
  202. Mathematical Society, Board of Governors Universities.
  203.  
  204. Bloomfield Hills School District Model High School's Gopher gives
  205. an indication of how the Internet is expanding beyond the
  206. university confines.

  235. the World. (The last three servers are out of place since this sorted
  236. index puts lower case behind the upper case list.) At this time there are
  237. 782 Gopher servers available from the All the Gopher Servers in the World
  238. menu.  More are being added every day.

  240. It would be worth your while if you are a serious user of the network,
  241. scholar, researcher, entrepreneur, or whatever to page through the
  242. forty-four pages of Gopher listings to get a feel for what is available.
  243. I'm sure you will run across some surprises that you will want to select
  244. and explore further.

  246. These are, however, Gopher directory items.  That means any you select
  247. will retrieve a menu that may contain other Gopher directory items.  So
  248. now we have a problem.  Seven hundred and two Gopher items that may
  249. contain additional directories that may contain additional directories
  250. that may ....
