  4. A recommended formula for your garbo.uwasa.fi upload announcements

  7. This is file is garbo.uwasa.fi:/pc/UPTEXT.INF.  Please see
  8. garbo.uwasa.fi:/pc/UPLOAD.INF for our full upload instructions,
  9. including a sample session on how to upload.

  11. Please remember to email your MsDos upload announcement to
  12. pc-up@uwasa.fi.  (For Windows uploads use win-up@uwasa.fi, for the
  13. rare QL uploads use ts@uwasa.fi, and for Mac uploads please use
  14. mac-up@uwasa.fi).

  16. This format below is intended as a helpful guidance.  You are not
  17. compelled to use this, or to fill in each and every item.  E.g.
  18. uploaders of updates of programs by other authors might find this
  19. too cumbersome.  (For example, I am not using this format for my own
  20. announcements).  But if you are the original author, this might be
  21. of use to you as an outline.

  23. However, you must assure to use a descriptive subject header in your
  24. email when you send your upload announcement to us.  If not, we
  25. might not publish your announcement at all!

  27. Please indicate clearly if you are the original author of the
  28. program(s).

  30. My best compliments to the kind users who have contributed in
  31. drawing up this format.

  33. The format for MsDos uploads below is in two parts.  First with
  34. comments, then without them to act as your base if you wish to.

  39. (The file name should preferably have a version number, and if it is
  40. an update, it must.  No two different renditions, however small the
  41. difference, are allowed to have equivalent names at garbo. 
  42. Furthermore if the name is extremely common like rm.zip you must
  43. make it more unique like I would use rm_ts10.zip in this example).
