  5.      The contests we've been having on LOADSTAR 64 have gone over so well we
  6. decided to have a contest on LOADSTAR 128.  BLOTTO seems to be perfectly
  7. suited for one so here goes.
  8.  
  9.      Read up on BLOTTO and play it a few times to get the hang of it.  Then
  10. load the TOURNAMENT named "trn.00.lscontest" and see how many words you can
  11. find.  This is a specially created file that can be totally solved.  In
  12. other words, it's possible to get a perfect score of 18 words out of it. 
  13. How do I know it can be done?  Because I created it manually and put in 18
  14. of my favorite five-letter words.  There are no plurals and no odd-ball
  15. words!  Since this is a contest, only words found in the dictionary are
  16. allowed.  The decisions of the judges are final, even if wrong.

  18.      However, it's entirely possible that the winner of the contest will not
  19. have a perfect score of 18 words.  I'd be surprised if anyone found the
  20. exact same words I entered into the grid.  The winner will be the person
  21. with the most words so you should only send in your best score.  You may
  22. either send (1) a disk with your saved games on it, or (2) a printed list of
  23. your words.  Sure, it's possible to cheat, but we're going to check to make
  24. sure that the winning lists are possible, and anyway, LOADSTARites don't
  25. cheat.

  27.      I like contests with lots of winners so we will be awarding prizes to
  28. the top 10 entries.  All will receive one-year subscriptions (or extensions)
  29. to LOADSTAR 128 and their choice of a back issue.  Be sure to include your
  30. name and address and which back issue you want on your entry.  Address your
