  9. uncovered by HomeTown Security that
  10. will dim billions of bulbs along the
  11. banks of Lake Michigan on September
  12. 16-18, 2005.

  14.     A secret, almost forgotten group
  15. of Techno-Luddites will be meeting in
  16. a Chicago suburb on those two days,
  17. firing up their antiquated
  18. contraptions and swapping software on
  19. floppy disks -- the old kind that
  20. really flop! These ancient computers,
  21. according to experts, are comparable
  22. to the one called ENIAC, which was
  23. blamed for brown-outs in Pittsburgh,
  24. Pennsylvania, during the Second World
  25. War.

  27.     The gathering is known by the code
  28. name SWRAP 2005, and the "expo" seems
  29. to be nefariously moved around
  30. the Chicago Metro area from year to
  31. year. This year it will be held in the
  32. suburb of Lombard, IL, though all the
  33. details have yet to be finallized.
  34. Authorities say that there is really
  35. nothing Chicagoland residents can do
  36. about it, except to repeatedly save
  37. any documents on which they are
  38. working on their PCs and Macs.
