- ME AND MY COMMODORE
- INTRODUCTION
- by Dave Moorman
-
-
- The Homestead Maillist is where
- many Commodorians hang out on the
- internet. For those who have avoided
- getting on line, a maillist is a way
- to email many people at once. A member
- sends something to the Homestead
- address, and Homestead forwards it on
- to all the members, who read and
- reply.
-
- The result is a lively and
- informative conversation, a place to
- ask questions and get answers, and to
- keep up on the news of all Commodorea.
- A couple of weeks ago, someone (Paul
- Panks, I believe) began a "thread" by
- telling of his first encounters with
- computing in general and Commodores in
- particular. He invited others to join
- the fray.
-
- And many did. I grabbed many of
- the the postings and put them together
- on this issue in order to share the
- varied paths our friends took to
- infatuation with a capable little
- computer.
