- ENHANCED SIDPLAYER CAPABILITIES
- from Al Jackson
-
- Hi Dave;
-
- In LS 231 you mentioned that you
- didn't know that "The Enhanced
- Sidplayer", would display graphics.
- Thought I would send you a couple of
- other little known items about this
- player.
-
- * It will play songs in the order
- you selected. Even if you select a few
- & then select All.
-
- * If words for the song are being
- displayed & you want to see who
- arranged the SID, press <W>.
-
- * If a picture is being displayed
- and you want to see who arranged the
- SID, press <P>.
-
- * The Menu displays 3 rows of 17
- (51) Music titles. If there are more
- on the disk it will go to a second or
- third Menu page. You then use the
- SPACEBAR to cycle to the Menu page you
- want.
-
- * If both a picture and words for a
- song are being displayed, you can see
- who arranged the SID by pressing <W>.
- If you press <P> instead, you will get
- to see the entire picture.
-
- Regards;
- Al Jackson

- LOADSTARites -- you, too, can
- create music/words/bitmap graphic
- extravaganzas with ENHANCED SIDPlayer.
- Just collect the songs in .MUS and
- .WDS files. Then find some pictures
- you like. Use STBPRINT to convert
- High-Res graphics to Doodle and
- Multi-Color to Koala formats. Name the
- resulting file
-
- file.PIC
-
- (where "file" is the same as the name
- of the music and words).
-
- That's all there is to it. If you
- have The Compleat LOADSTAR CD-ROM, you
- have a tremendous collection of
- graphics to work with. Compile your
- own program and let us see it!
