- SchotZ is about Success and
- Failure, not winning and losing. You
- [cannot] lose, but boy can you FAIL!
-
- Each Level presents five screens
- of colored tiles on a white
- background. Click on groups of three
- or more tiles of the same color
- touching each other left/right/above/
- below. The random rows will scroll
- towards the top. If a colored tile
- would scroll off the top,
-
- YOU FAILED!
-
- You will have to do the screen over
- again. And again. And again. Until you
- Succeed.
-
- If you clear all the tiles before
- the time is up, you receive a bonus.
-
- Then comes THE WALL, a predesigned
- screen full of colored tiles that
- [must] be removed in exactly the right
- order. Should you have a few tiles
- left over, click the big X in the
- lower right corner of the screen. How
- can I put this nicely? Oh, yes:
-
- YOU FAILED!
-
- You will have to do The Wall over
- again. And again. And etc. Forever and
- ever.
-
- Unless you choose to Quit. If your
- score is in the Top Ten, you will have
- a chance to input your name. If not,
- you can always Clear the Top Ten list
- and put the current score in top
- place.
-
- That's all there is to it. I got
- the idea from my sister who described
- something like this she downloaded
- from Yahoo. The only tricky part of
- the program was the recursive code
- that figures out if three or more
- tiles are next to each other. I was
- going to explain this technique in
- detail, but I am out of space.
-
- So, with that bit of luck, take
- your best SchotZ!
