  7.     Some time ago, I got an email from
  8. a guy who was an Apple II fanatic. He
  9. had come across the surprisingly rich
  10. world of C= users (well, surprising to
  11. an Apple person). He wrote that he was
  12. researching for an article on what
  13. Shaun Bebbington calls "Retro
  14. Computing", and wondered why Commodore
  15. users were still Commodore users.*
  16.  
  17.     I wrote him back some of the
  18. verbage I have laid on you, then put
  19. his request on the Homestead MailLink.
  20.  
  21.   (By the way, if you are doing email,
  22. you will want to hook up with
  23. Homestead. The list is full of
  24. questions and answers (some over my
  25. head, some right to my gut!) and the
  26. give and take of community.)

  28.     Anyway, I found four responses to
  29. the question posted on Homestead and
  30. asked the writers if they would mind
  31. being published on LOADSTAR. So here
  32. they are -- pretty much as they
  33. appeared on the Net.

  35.     I am sure [you] have your own
  36. reason for Adoring your Commodore. Why
  37. not write it down -- Mr.Edstar,
  38. Edstar, or TXT format, please. You
  39. might just put voice to that one
  40. reason hundreds of people have been
  41. trying to say all these years.
