- COMM-ADORATIONS
-
- Preface by Dave Moorman
-
-
- Some time ago, I got an email from
- a guy who was an Apple II fanatic. He
- had come across the surprisingly rich
- world of C= users (well, surprising to
- an Apple person). He wrote that he was
- researching for an article on what
- Shaun Bebbington calls "Retro
- Computing", and wondered why Commodore
- users were still Commodore users.*
-
- I wrote him back some of the
- verbage I have laid on you, then put
- his request on the Homestead MailLink.
-
- (By the way, if you are doing email,
- you will want to hook up with
- Homestead. The list is full of
- questions and answers (some over my
- head, some right to my gut!) and the
- give and take of community.)
-
- Anyway, I found four responses to
- the question posted on Homestead and
- asked the writers if they would mind
- being published on LOADSTAR. So here
- they are -- pretty much as they
- appeared on the Net.
-
- I am sure [you] have your own
- reason for Adoring your Commodore. Why
- not write it down -- Mr.Edstar,
- Edstar, or TXT format, please. You
- might just put voice to that one
- reason hundreds of people have been
- trying to say all these years.

- * I know, it is a silly question.
- And yet, I cannot imagine anyone being
- an Apple II person these days.
