- Ike Miller is here this month with
- a vengeance. If you remember, last
- month I bumped both of his crossword
- puzzles because we didn't have enough
- room on Side Two. This month he makes
- me pay by making his puzzle extra
- tough. I'm afraid that you have to
- pay, too. Life just isn't fair.
-
- Barbara has a different type of
- Cross-Total this month. It's called
- CROSS-DIGIT and its answers all
- contain consecutive integers. If you
- have had trouble solving Cross-Totals
- in the past, try this one -- it's
- easier than most.
-
- The logic problem concerns days
- of yore and knights of olde, so get
- yore olde brain working for CAMELOT.
-
- Speaking of days and nights, pay
- close attention to the TALE OF THE
- FAKE PHOTO, Inspector La Vie's
- latest mystery. He doesn't miss
- clues, and neither should you, if you
- hope to solve this one.
-
- The final two word puzzles, CROSS
- DEF and ANAGRAMMER, are pretty tough.
- Only expert puzzlists will solve all
- of them.
-
- Dave Marquis sensed that I was
- running short of SID songs for
- LOADSTAR and PUZZLE PAGE and sent me
- a bunch. Thanks, Dave! This month's
- music to ponder by is Tambourin, by
- Francois Gossec.
