  10. whacked the funny bone of only two
  11. LOADSTARites:

  13.  Jan Logsdon is a newcomer from
  14. Radcliff, KY, and made me giggle the
  15. hardest. Sheri agreed -- and Jan will
  16. get a $25 Gift Certificate in the
  17. mail.
  18.  
  19.  Daniel Robinson from Kansas City,
  20. MO, had our only other entry this
  21. month. Dan is quite a wit -- and not
  22. just nit, dim, or half!
  23.  
  24.  As usual, we didn't stop with just
  25. the winner. Our conversion of Fender's
  26. Toon Viewer again shows all of the
  27. captions we received. Just press a key
  28. to flip through the offerings, and
  29. press <Q> to quit.

  31.  The print function works the same
  32. way. Press 2 or 3 (depending on your
  33. printer), answer the format questions,
  34. then flip through the captions until
  35. you find the one you want, and press
  36. <Q>.

  38.  Jan (who lives on Logsdon Pky -- if
  39. that means anything) also sent a
  40. modified cartoon: The guy on the left
  41. has two arrows sticking to his
  42. backside. Our finger-pointing speaker
  43. says: "You never, ever go to a bow and
  44. arrow fight armed with a mace!" I wish
  45. we had a way to show such variations
  46. -- and maybe you can think of one. The
  47. Toon Viewer is written in Basic, after
  48. all.

  50.  Anyway, Toon 205 is still open for
  51. laffs. But we ran short of space this
  52. month, so we will give the Toon-A-Rama
  53. Contest a rest for awhile. But do not
  54. dispair! More fun and adventure is
  55. coming your way on LOADSTAR!
