Preheat the oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 10 x 12 inch baking pan. Sift the flour and salt together. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then beat in the eggs 1 at a time until the mixture is light. Beat in the melted chocolate & vanilla. Quickly stir in the sifted flour and salt. Then the chopped nuts. Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then cut into squares.
