- From: Baron
-
- I would appreciate help with a
-
- program from volume 17. The name of
-
- the file is "F-KEYS FIXER.128"
-
-
- When I load and attempt to run the
-
- program I get "? syntax error in
-
- 240". When I hit my "HELP" key, I get
-
- "KEY1," and it is highlighted.
-
-
- I am a recent subscriber to
-
- "LOADSTAR" and I must say I am quite
-
- impressed with your media. Your ads
-
- are quite true when they say if you
-
- can afford one disk service this
-
- should be the one. I wish I had
-
- tried yours prior to my other
-
- subscriptions.
-
-
- I'm looking forward to your reply to
-
- see how well this works !!

- Dear Loadstar:
-
-
- This is my first issue of Loadstar
-
- and I truly love it. I would like to
-
- know if you plan to have Loadstar on
-
- the new Commodore 1581 disk drive
-
- that is 3.5 inch.

- Ah LOADSTAR, where are you? What has
-
- happened to the old motto, "LOADSTAR
-
- is only as good as you the subscriber
-
- make it."? It seems to me that you
-
- really started disappearing when you
-
- came out in your new plastic case.
-
- You know, the one that you step on
-
- when you go to the mail box because
-
- it was too large to fit in the box.
-
-
- A few of the things that I miss that
- made you unique and great are:
-
- 1. INFLUX
- 2. FEEDBACK
- 3. QUESTION & ANSWERS
- 4. USER TO USER
- 5. HINTS AND TIPS
- 6. SOFTWARE REVIEWS BY THE
- SUBSCRIBERS
- 7. Those good articles like "DOS &
- DONT'S and PEEKS & POKES
-
- I was so thrilled with my first issue
-
- of LOADSTAR (#13) that I subscribed
-
- and ordered copies of disks #1 thru
-
- #12. As a matter of fact I thought so
-
- much of it, I ordered a years sub-
-
- scription for my son also.
-
-
- If it is your intent to continue
-
- down this road of the exclusion of
-
- subscriber interface, I doubt that I
-
- will be renewing either subscription.
-
-
- One other complaint before I get
-
- off my soap box. Could you modify
-
- 'ARCHETYPE' for a 40 column display
-
- that can be scrolled so that you can
-
- see 40 columns of an 80 column
-
- processor at a time. This would be
-
- beneficial to those of us who can not
-
- handle the 80 column display due to
-
- poor eyesight.
