- What are Power Play/Microcomputer
-
- Programs?
-
-
- LOADSTAR provides many services to
-
- its readers. One such service is the
-
- inclusion of the programs listed in
-
- Commodore's Power Play and
-
- Microcomputers magazines. These
-
- magazines are the official Commodore
-
- paper magazines and are published
-
- alternately each month.
-
-
- Without LOADSTAR, the readers of
-
- these magazines must enter the
-
- program listings manually into their
-
- computers using the Magazine Entry
-
- utility. Anyone who has done this
-
- has learned how frustrating such a
-
- task can be... typing errors, program
-
- errors, etc.
-
-
- LOADSTAR, however, provides these
-
- same programs on disk for its
-
- readers... already typed in and
-
- debugged! In most cases we perform
-
- some minor enhancements to the
-
- programs to make them even better or
-
- friendlier.
-
-
- Do take note, though, that LOADSTAR
-
- may or may not include certain
-
- programs found in the paper magazine
-
- that are inappropriate due to unusual
-
- hardware or software requirements on
-
- the user's end. This rarely happens,
-
- but is not impossible.
-
-
- A Recommendation
- ----------------
-
- It is advisable that you obtain the
-
- parallel copy of POWER/PLAY or
-
- MICROCOMPUTERS that is associated
-
- with the programs contained on this
-
- disk. The paper magazine contains
-
- additional (and sometimes essential)
-
- information about the programs.
-
-
- If you have any questions regarding
-
- any of these programs from the
-
- Commodore magazines, you can call for
-
- assistance at the following telephone
-
- number.
