- TRIG CALC
- by

-
-
- TRIG CALC can be a great aid if
-
- your trigonometry skills are a bit
-
- rusty. Just by entering two known
-
- values (one of the knowns must be a
-
- side length), you can find the sine,
-
- cosine, and tangent values; the
-
- angles; and the side lengths for any
-
- right triangle.
-
- When using TRIG CALC, you will
-
- first be prompted to enter the number
-
- of decimal places you want the values
-
- rounded to. The program then
-
- displays a right triangle, with each
-
- side and angle represented by a
-
- variable. You enter the variable
-
- names (not the numbers right now) of
-
- your two known quantities. Notice
-
- that you must enter BOTH variable
-
- names before the computer procedes.
-
- The program then prompts you for
-
- the values of each of these variables.
-
- After these are entered, the program
-
- displays a diagram of a triangle
-
- labeled with these values and asks if
-
- this figure accurately represents
-
- your data. If you answer "no" by
-
- typing "n", the computer returns to
-
- the previous screen.
-
- If you answer (y)es, that the
-
- diagram is correct, the program then
-
- dislays a list of all of the values
-
- for that particular right triangle.
