-
-
- Although the title may seem a bit
-
- spooky at first, all ye faint of heart
-
- relax. Although there are mummies and
-
- Frankenstein monsters, there are no
-
- spiders, snakes or vampires. As a
-
- matter of fact, it is about as scary
-
- as sitting in your own home playing
-
- a video game on your computer.
-
- However, that is where the similiarity
-
- ends.
-
- The Castles of Doctor Creep
-
- (Castles from here on in) is a cross
-
- between a brain game (you really have
-
- to think), an arcade game (sometimes
-
- you have to be a good stick to get
-
- through), and a race. Castles
-
- starts up in a tutorial mode that
-
- almost eliminates any need for any
-
- documentation. Except for use of the
-
- RUN/STOP and RESTORE keys, all you
-
- need to know to play is contained in
-
- the tutorial. After you have mastered
-
- the tutorial, then you can try one of
-
- the castles. There are 13, ranging
-
- from simple to almost impossible. They
-
- give you the opportunity to learn the
-
- castles with an unlimited lives option
-
- (although you cannot record a score
-
- in this mode). Once you learn the
-
- castle, see who can get the best
-
- time. I highly recommend this game to
-
- any aspiring geniuses who think they
-
- are up to the challenge. Remember, it
-
- is you against the castle and may the
-
- best man win.
