  17.     This is a super-easy to use word
  18.  
  19. processor. It has just about all the
  20.  
  21. features you could want. It has
  22.  
  23. word-wrap, merge files, automatic page
  24.  
  25. numbering, customized lay-outs, 80
  26.  
  27. column viewing of final draft (not
  28.  
  29. readable), and much more.
  30.  
  31.   As you use it, you become aware of
  32.  
  33. the many features. For example,
  34.  
  35. I had problems when printing with a
  36.  
  37. letter quality Smith Corona daisy
  38.  
  39. wheel printer with single sheets.  I
  40.  
  41. then noticed it has an option to put
  42.  
  43. in customized printer commands.  You
  44.  
  45. may repeat the same commands or select
  46.  
  47. new ones when you begin to print. 
  48.  
  49. Before printing you have the option of
  50.  
  51. setting the type of paper (single or
  52.  
  53. continuous), seeing the final
  54.  
  55. document, or selecting starting page
  56.  
  57. number.
  58.  
  59.     It is probably usable with any
  60.  
  61. printer.  You customize the setup at
  62.  
  63. the beginning of the program. You set
  64.  
  65. the seletions your printer will need
  66.  
  67. and save these customized selections.
  68.  
  69. You may also save custom selections
  70.  
  71. for top, bottom, left, and right
  72.  
  73. margins, and left or right alignment.
  74.  
  75.     When editing, you can erase,
  76.  
  77. insert, find, find and replace, copy,
  78.  
  79. etc...
  80.  
  81.     Now for the weaknesses: It has so
  82.  
  83. many built in features that it uses up
  84.  
  85. a bundle of memory. (It takes a full
  86.  
  87. four minutes to load.)  I found that
  88.  
  89. in trying to type a long single spaced
  90.  
  91. document, my computer ran out of
  92.  
  93. memory when I reached the middle of
  94.  
  95. the third page.  At that time I was
  96.  
  97. stuck.  Luckily I had saved it after
  98.  
  99. the second page.

  101.  
  102.    Another feature it lacks is color
  103.  
  104. selection.  When typing, you get white
  105.  
  106. letters on a black background. 
  107.  
  108.    The manual appears to be adequate.
  109.  
  110. However it leaves items out that
  111.  
  112. experience alone teaches you. When I
  113.  
  114. first considered buying it, I met an
  115.  
  116. elderly couple who were also looking
  117.  
  118. for a word processor. They said they
  119.  
  120. did not like the automatic page
  121.  
  122. numbering feature. Ironically, it has
  123.  
  124. a built-in option that allows you to
  125.  
  126. supress line numbers and choose
  127.  
  128. heading or page foot messages.  They
  129.  
  130. did not know this because the manual
  131.  
  132. didn't explain it.
  133.  
  134.   The makers will provide a backup
  135.  
  136. copy for $10.
