- This program comes from a BASIC
-
- program originally written for a
-
- Hewlett Packard computer. A friend of
-
- mine modified it to run on his Atari
-
- 400, and I subsequently modified it
-
- for the C-64.
-
- The program operation is self-
-
- instructing, asking for your name,
-
- date of birth, the starting month and
-
- year for which you wish your bio-
-
- rhythms to be printed, and the number
-
- of months for which you wish them
-
- printed.
-
- For those who are not familiar
-
- with 'biorhythm theory' here is a
-
- brief explanation. Each person is
-
- supposed to have three body cycles
-
- which start at birth and continue
-
- through life. These are the Physical
-
- (P), having a cycle of 23 days, the
-
- Emotional (E),having a cycle of 28
-
- days, and the Intellectual (I), having
-
- a cycle of 33 days. Each cycle begins
-
- at zero at birth and varies
-
- 'sinusoidally' with those periods.
-
- These cycles go through 'high' periods
-
- ('good days') and 'low' periods ('bad
-
- days').
-
- When a cycle goes through 'zero',
-
- this is considered a 'critical' time
-
- for that cycle. The program prints
-
- these cycles using the letters P, E,
-
- and I, against the days of each month,
-
- showing the variation of each cycle.
-
- This program was written to use a
-
- COM-STAR printer with a CARDCO CARD/?
-
- interface, but will probably work with
-
- most printers.
-
- I also have another version which
-
- allows you to save names and
-
- birthdates on a disk file to save
-
- having to reenter them again for
-
- persons you chart often. Anyone
-
- wishing a copy of that version can
-
- contact me.
