  10.    This program comes from a BASIC
  11.  
  12. program originally written for a
  13.  
  14. Hewlett Packard computer.  A friend of
  15.  
  16. mine modified it to run on his Atari
  17.  
  18. 400, and I subsequently modified it
  19.  
  20. for the C-64.
  21.  
  22.    The program operation is self-
  23.  
  24. instructing, asking for your name,
  25.  
  26. date of birth, the starting month and
  27.  
  28. year for which you wish your bio-
  29.  
  30. rhythms to be printed, and the number
  31.  
  32. of months for which you wish them
  33.  
  34. printed.
  35.  
  36.    For those who are not familiar
  37.  
  38. with 'biorhythm theory' here is a
  39.  
  40. brief explanation.  Each person is
  41.  
  42. supposed to have three body cycles
  43.  
  44. which start at birth and continue
  45.  
  46. through life.  These are the Physical
  47.  
  48. (P), having a cycle of 23 days, the
  49.  
  50. Emotional (E),having a cycle of 28
  51.  
  52. days, and the Intellectual (I), having
  53.  
  54. a cycle of 33 days.  Each cycle begins
  55.  
  56. at zero at birth and varies
  57.  
  58. 'sinusoidally' with those periods.
  59.  
  60. These cycles go through 'high' periods
  61.  
  62. ('good days') and 'low' periods ('bad
  63.  
  64. days').
  65.  
  66.    When a cycle goes through 'zero',
  67.  
  68. this is considered a 'critical' time
  69.  
  70. for that cycle.  The program prints
  71.  
  72. these cycles using the letters P, E,
  73.  
  74. and I, against the days of each month,
  75.  
  76. showing the variation of each cycle.
  77.  
  78. This program was written to use a
  79.  
  80. COM-STAR printer with a CARDCO CARD/?
  81.  
  82. interface, but will probably work with
  83.  
  84. most printers.
  85.  
  86.    I also have another version which

  88. allows you to save names and
  89.  
  90. birthdates on a disk file to save
  91.  
  92. having to reenter them again for
  93.  
  94. persons you chart often.  Anyone
