- Jim Hood is a commercial photographer by training and a computer
- hobbyist by preference and resides about 3 miles from Seattle,
- Washington on Mercer Island, a city of about 22,000 people in
- the middle of scenic Lake Washington. A former coordinator for
- the Mercer Island Computer Club, Jim divides his time between
- computer related hobby activities and the operation of Seattle
- Scientific Photography which produces 35mm lecture/presentation
- slides for medical and corporate training. Jim attended the
- University of Sophia in Tokyo, Japan and Seattle University in
- Seattle. PC-Learn has absorbed approximately 1,400 hours of
- programming, editing and research time. PC-LEARN began as a
- series of short articles for the Mercer Island Computer Club
- newsletter and is dedicated to the members of that group.
