  3. THIS IS NOT A FREE DEMO VERSION. PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE IT!

  5. Welcome to InterMail 2.50 gamma 1.
  6.  
  7. Use the install program to upgrade from earlier InterMail versions, or
  8. simply unpack the archive manually and copy (overwrite) the *.exe 
  9. files. If you choose the latter, please make sure to run IMConfig
  10. and recompiling the nodelist before running any of the other programs.
  11.  
  12. Make sure that you read IMNEW.DOC to find out about all the new
  13. features and changes in version 2.50. The old IMSetup and IMNC
  14. programs are NOT compatible and should never be used. IMSetup has
  15. been replaced with IMConfig and IMNC with "IMConfig /nf" to compile
  16. the nodelist.

  18. You do not have to convert any file if you're upgrading from 2.29a 
  19. or later versions. If you're upgrading from earlier versions, please 
  20. let the install program do the conversion automatically.
  21.  
  22. If upgrading from any version in the 2.29 series, you need to load
  23. IMConfig and check all line specific settings since 2.50 adds many
  24. more options.
  25.  
  26. If you want to legally distribute trial versions of InterMail or
  27. InterEcho, please get the latest time limited demo release from us by
  28. file requesting the following magic file names:
  29.  
  30.   IMDEMO     - Latest demo release of InterMail, if available.
  31.   IEDEMO     - Latest demo release of InterEcho, if available.
  32.   FILES      - List of InterMail and InterEcho related files.
  33.  
  34. New versions of InterMail will be distributed as publicly available
  35. patches or complete archives, since a valid key is needed to
  36. activate the software, whether as a demo or a licensed copy.
