- VFDB is a small but handy utility to view the RemoteAccess
- v2.0 file database files from Dos.
-
- Last year I created VFB, a util to view the files.bbs files
- from Dos, and this is the logical follow up of that program.

- Where <path> must be a valid file area path as defined
- in files.ra and used by RemoteAccess. Use a '.' for the
- current path.

- <options> can be the following:
-
- /S Setup an alternative format file (fullscreen)

- VFDB opens the FDB files in share/read-only mode. This means
- that VFDB can never destroy your precious files-listings and
- other tasks can use the same FDB files at the same time.
-
- VFDB tries to open VFDB.DAT, which contains a file listing format.
- If VFDB cannot find this file, it will use a default format as used
- by Remoteaccess v1.11 and other programs.
-
- With the /S parameter you can create this VFDB.DAT file (or any
- other name) yourself, using the full screen setup screen. With the
- /F<name> parameter you can instruct VFDB to use an alternative
- format file.

- VFBD is supplied as *CardWare*. If you are using this program send
- me a postcard of your city (looks great on my wall!) telling me
- that you use VFDB and what you like and dislike about it.
-
- VFDB was tested, and worked flameless on my system (5 lines Novell)
- but still, VFDB comes with limited warranty: NONE.
-
- In no event shall Ron Huiskes and/or InterSoft be liable for any
- damages caused by VFDB. The software is supplied as-is. If it breaks
- in two, you own both halves...
