  16.     With this program you can edit your BBBSUSR.DAT file without
  17.     first entering the BBBS. You can change for example users
  18.     password, address, is ANSI on, dowloaded files or give or take
  19.     users download access. You can change almost anything you can do
  20.     thru the BBBS itself. This is far more better to do it than
  21.     changing users one by one...

  23.     WARNING! Do not use USERED when someone is at the same time in
  24.     BBBS, it may cause loss of data and corruption of usersfile.
  25.     That's because USERED does not lock BBBSUSR.DAT file when reading
  26.     or writing it...

  32.     Of course DOS is a good thing to exist in your machine :) Then you
  33.     need one of the BBBS's configfiles (for example BBBSCFG.1 where
  34.     the 1 is the node number, it doesn't matter which one of them you
  35.     use) and a BBBSUSR.DAT file (where the users in BBBS are located).
  36.     That's all... This version has been tested with BBBS v0.29
  37.     usersfiles and it works with it too :)

  43.     Because I have used a lot of my time to do this I would like to
  44.     have a small donation for that. I would say 20 FIMK is enough...
  45.     From this version USERED is fully working even if unregistered.
  46.     Only a short delay and a registration remainder is displayed when
  47.     not registered. When you register the delay and the registration
  48.     screen are bypassed.

  51.     fee if you like this program..I have done a lot of work to
  52.     produce this...Future versions may depend on registrations or
  53.     lack of them.

  61.      ■ Fixed   : Pressing ENTER on the right side of screen input
  62.                  line does not appear on the left side :)
  63.      ■ Fixed   : Sometimes when exiting DOS shell selection bar was

  66.                  it was really severe when running DesqView.

  91.     If you are using USERED v1.0 do not change the first two letters
  92.     of users name because BBBS uses the BBBSUSR.IDX file as an index
  93.     and stores there first two letters of every users name in a
  94.     specific order and USRERD does not update it if users name is
  95.     changed, result: User not identified when logging in again...
