- Well....it got your attention right?
-
- UPLOADER has been tested, all of about a dozen, or so times on my system.
-
- No ill effects have been detected, but I cannot guarentee the same on your
- system! As with any program that modifies your files, it is very prudent to
- do a backup of the files in question.
-
- So my =STRONG= reccomendation to you, before you run Uploader, is to follow
- these few steps.
-
- 1. Backup the *.HDR files in your RA Database Header directory, just to be
- safe! Or....copy a few or all of then to another directory, and learn
- UPLOADER on those copies.
-
- 2. Read UPLOADER.DOC "Before" you run the program.
-
- 3. Cross your fingers and run it!
-
- Heh...you can rest easy on number 3, it wouldn't be all that bad.
- But...be safe, not sorry, do a backup then run UPLOADER, and check all,
- or spot check, the listings with RAMGR. If all looks well you can dump
- the backup.
-
- You can now do your spot checking with the included LISTREC.EXE.
-
- This archive should contain the following:
-
- WARNING.!!! This file.
- README Author note.
- UPLOADER.EXE The modification program.
- UPLOADER.DOC Documentation for UPLOADER.
- LISTREC.EXE HDR records display program.
- LISTREC.DOC Documentation for LISTREC.
- WHATSNEW.DOC Changes, additions sice last release.
- AVEXTRA.TXT A ZIP authentication message.
-
- I apologize if my Documentation is somewhat sloppy, not nicely formatted,
- repetitive in spots etc.
- As these are FREE programs, I'll admit that I don't put the effort into the
- manuals that I do for my "paying" programs, but they should have all the
- important information you need, even if they aren't "pretty".
-
- These programs are FREE! Enjoy......
