- - Made UpUtils "/I" feature add the extra info without needing
- the "/D" switch turned on. It now performs description
- inserting about 5-10x faster
- - Made the screen rescyronize after multiple display blocks
- instead of after each character, making the modem throughput
- speeds increase dramatically (especially under OS/2)
- - Included a program called UPSAMPLE that will allow you to
- test the message posting features. (Even in unregistered mode
- so you can confirm that the routines work and you can see

- - Included aggressive locking routines for better reliability
- on very active multiline systems

- denied file access (so you don't think it crashed)

- if the dropfile is missing. (However, the user won't get
- a message if the file failed as the user's name is in
- the drop file.) To ensure that UpCheck runs at full
- capability, make sure that the drop file is present.
- - Fixed a real stupid mistake with the releasing of a subdirectory.
