  2.   This file contains some notes about running TxMAILER/TxDIALER in
  3.   certain environments.  If you are having problems, please check
  4.   the list below, as well as the Q&A section of the TXMAILER.DOC

  6.   * Strange modem flashing lights when locked at 57600
  7.  
  8.     Some people have had problems with the baud rate locked at 57600,
  9.     if this effects you, please try dropping the baud rate to 38400.

  11.   * My provider doesn't use a login ID, it uses PPP PAP authentication
  12.   * I can't seem to logon to my provider
  13.  
  14.     After running TXBUILD, edit the CONFIG.PPP file and add the
  15.     following two lines:

  17.     ppp pap user <loginid> <password>
  18.     ppp pap timeout 30
  19.  
  20.     Where <loginid> and <password> are replaced with your loginid and
  21.     password.  Then type:

  23.     ATTRIB +R CONFIG.PPP
  24.  
  25.     Otherwise the next time you run TXBUILD it will overwrite the
  26.     changes you just made.
