  27. File Transfer Protocols

  29.        This option will list the available file transfer protocols for
  30.        selection.  Use your favorite transfer protocol for downloading and
  31.        uploading messages.

  33.        ZMODEM is a very popular file transfer mechanism and is highly
  34.        recommended.

  40.    Archivers Options
  41.  
  42.        Your sysop has provided a list of available archiver programs.
  43.        Archivers are programs that compress and expand data.  This allows
  44.        for reduction in transfer time.  Xpress will use the archiver that
  45.        you choose from this list to compress and expand the mail.
  46.  
  47.        Choose the one you would like to use and INTEND to use on your PC.
  48.        For instance, if you like the PKZIP archiver, choose PKZIP from the
  49.        list and configure your Silver Xpress Reader to use PKZIP.

  51.        NOTE:  If you set up the reader to use "ARCHIVER DETECTION," you
  52.               don't need to do much more than have PKZIP/PKUNZIP programs
  53.               on your path statement.

  61.        Use this option to save all Xpress information about you.  Xpress
