  2. This is just a quick note.
  3.  
  4. **   If you were running SHOPDOOR version 1.0 or version 1.1 prior to
  5.      this version, you will need to run the included program called
  6.      SDCONVERT.EXE on your datafiles, if you intend to keep using them
  7.      by setting up the exact same catagories. Read SDCONVERT.DOC. **

  10.      Place DOCONFIG.EXE in the directory that NEWSHOP will run from.
  11.  
  12.      TYPE 'DOCONFIG'  and the program will create SHOPDOR.CFG for you
  13.      once you have answered all the prompts.  It should be fairly
  14.      self explanatory.

  16.      Once the config file is created, if you need the room you can then
  17.      delete DOCONFIG.EXE.  **!! But be SURE you keep the original
  18.      DISTRIBUTION file or a backup in case you want to change the
  19.       catagorys or other parameters in the future!!**

  21.      DOCONFIG.EXE will ALWAYS create SHOPDOR.CFG in the current directory,
  22.      that is, the directory it is executed from.  The name of the
  23.      executable file is now NEWSHOP.EXE, so your calling batch file
  24.      should have NEWSHOP SHOPDOR.CFG in it. OR, if you perfer, you can
  25.      rename NEWSHOP.EXE to SHOPDOOR.EXE, and the call would then be
  26.      SHOPDOOR SHOPDOR.CFG  , it is your choice and preference.  It is
  27.      named newshop to avoid confusion with the eariler version.

  32.      IF you type in the exact same catagories as the original version, you
  33.      may continue to use your old datafiles, otherwise it will not do right.

  42. P.S. If you were using SHOPDOOR version 1.0 or Version 1.1, you may use
  43. the included file called SDCONVERT to convert your datafiles to a format
  44. that can be used with the present version, but remember, you will have to
  45. name your catagories EXACTLY what they were in the eariler versions of
  46. SHOPDOOR, if you expect to use your old datafiles.
