  8.     Physical persons who are allowed to use the noncommercial version of
  9. FrontDoor (see the license statement in the beginning of FD.DOC contained in
  10. the file archive FD202.ARJ from us for full details) are offered a special
  11. "SysOp's discount" on FrontDoor and TosScan. In short, products with "SysOp's
  12. discount" may only be purchased and used by physical persons (as opposed to
  13. juridical persons), installed on a computer which is personal property, and
  14. used purely for personal hobby purposes. If it is discovered that a customer
  15. who has accepted the terms for the "SysOp's discount" is in breach of the
  16. same, and that the products have not been used accordingly, the original
  17. customer shall be obliged to pay to Advanced Engineering sarl penalty charges
  18. equal to the then current non-discounted prices of the purchased products in
  19. addition to any costs incurred by debt collection.

  21.     The "SysOp's discount" is of limited availability and one of our ways to
  22. say thank you to all enthusiasts who spend lots of their own time and money to
  23. make the amateur networks so much fun to be part of! The only material
  24. difference between FrontDoor 2.10 obtained with the "SysOp's discount" and the
  25. regular FrontDoor 2.10 is in the design and cost of the binder; the former is
  26. bound with soft covers while the regular FrontDoor is bound in sturdy hard
  27. cover binders.

  29.     Public schools are excluded from the terms above; they can use a formal
  30. requisition from the Principal's office to order products according to the
  31. "SysOp's discount."

  37. FrontDoor/noncommercial is not public domain, shareware, or freeware; nor does
  38. it stop working after a certain amount of time. FrontDoor/noncommercial is
  39. simply free of charge for individual hobby use by persons holding or aspiring
  40. to obtain a network address (including point addresses) in one or more of the
  41. amateur data communications networks throughout the world. It is not allowed
  42. to use FrontDoor/noncommercial within a commercial environment (ie. business,
  43. governmental organization, association, school, foundation, or any other form
  44. of juridical person) without prior written permission from Advanced
  45. Engineering sarl.

  49. Exception to the rule of personal ownership of the computer: before the year

  51. be carried on a computer owned by business or state agency if the installation
  52. is located and remains in one of the following countries: Albania, Angola,
  53. Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Czeckoslovakia, Estonia, Ethiopia, Hungary, Latvia,
  54. Laos, Lithuania, North Korea, Poland, Rumania, the Soviet Union, Sudan,
  55. Tanzania, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, or former republic, province or member state of
  56. one of these countries which has turned independent.
