  16.        If you are a programmer, please send the programs that you
  17.        have written to me @fidonet 1:135/71 or 1:135/711, and they
  18.        will be hatched into the network.  Here are a "FEW" guidelines
  19.        that I ask you to follow:

  21.        [NOTE:  "RemoteAccess" has NO SPACE between Remote and Access.]

  23. 1) This is Your program and/or you have permission from the author to 
  24.    distribute the program(s).
  25.  
  26. 2) A good one line description letting us know what it is and what
  27.    version/s of RemoteAccess it will work with.
  28.    If you wish to use a FILE_ID.DIZ description file, please read the
  29.    FILEINFO.RAD text file included in the RADIST.ARJ archive that
  30.    explains the format of the file.

  32. 3) Try to not make it too crippled.  I know that this is a large
  33.    battling topic but heck, you all have to make it somewhere so we will
  34.    let some things be crippled.  They must not be too crippled.  Examples
  35.    follow:
  36.         
  37.      a) ONLY the EXTRA features can be crippled not vital parts of your
  38.         program.
  39.      b) It must run indefinitely unregistered, ie. doesn't blow up
  40.         after 30 days if you don't register it.
  41.      c) Must be fully documented, with or without registration.
  42.         
  43. If you are not sure if your program will be considered crippled or not just
  44. netmail me and ask, and I will let you know promptly.
  45.  
  46. 4) Along with your program, please send me a list of the features that
  47.    don't work without registration as well as any other crippling parts
  48.    that it has.
  49.  
  50. 5) RADIST will only release 1 version a month, unless it is a MAJOR bug
  51.    fix.  This way it cuts down on the long distance calls from a system
  52.    to get a color change in the menu.
  53.  
  54. 6) RADIST will only release files that are new and are not being sent at
  55.    the same time to other File Distribution Networks.  Duplication is
  56.    costly for those who participate in more than one file network.

  60. RADIST does not normally change the archive format of a program as it is
  61. received from the author or his/her distributor.  If a security envelope
  62. is placed on an archive, it will remain in place.  The RADIST
  63. Distribution Identifier will be added to the archive.  BBS and other ads
  64. will be removed from the archives.
  65.
