  1. Welcome to RADCD!
  2.  
  3. Version 1.04 represents a Major Upgrade.  Many things have been
  4. enhanced, and several new options have been added.
  5.  
  6. This version is compatible with the Cowboy Software MASTER registration
  7. code.
  8.  
  9. For previous users, a look at CHANGES.104 may be all you need.
  10. A comprehensive Help System is available via a menu, you can access it from
  11. the prompt by supplying any of the following, after the program name.
  12.  
  13. Help Switches:  RADCD ?,  /?, /h, /help
  14.  
  15. There are changed keywords, and also new keywords. Please refer to
  16. SAMPLE.CFG
  17.

  30. Version 1.04 adds multi-language support, and is available to all.
  31.  
  32. It also adds support for modifying a callers security if they drop
  33. carrier more than the sysop defined maximum.  This support includes:
  34.   a) Security Modification
  35.   b) Notice of Modification to User
  36.   c) Notice of modification to Sysop
  37.  
  38. Alas.... the security modification part is only available in Registered
  39. Mode.  But the registration cost is VERY reasonable. See RADCD.REG
  40.  
  41. All functions that were freely available in previous versions of RADCD,
  42. are still so.  As well as the new multi-language support.
  43.  
  44. Future versions/enhancements depend on use/registration by Sysops.
  45.  
  46. This is the fourth of RADCD.  This version is still subject to small bugs,
  47. ya know, something I missed, maybe had one eye closed or sumthin!!??
  48. Quite a few additions, and these breed those pesky little critters....

  50. If you discover a bug, please notify me as soon as you can, that's how they
  51. get fixed.

  62. Please, read the RADCD.DOC, you will just have problems if you don't.
  63. This is ESPECIALLY true if this is your first look at RADCD!!

  65. RADCD is pretty easy to use, but its also easy to use wrong, if you don't
  66. learn how to do it correctly, and that's what the DOC file is for!!

  68. Also carefully read the included sample RADCD.CFG, it is pretty heavily
  69. commented.

  71. Suggested Setup Steps
  72.    1. Modify sample config to suit your system and preferences.
  73.    2. Rename it to RADCD.CFG, make sure is in the EXE directory
  74.    3. If you have defined ANS/ASC screes(s), run RADCD -N to create
  75.       new screens.
  76.    4. Setup your RA menu(s) to display the specified Drop Screens
  77.    5. Modify your BBS batch file to run RADCD after each caller
  78.    6. If you are upgrading from a previous version, earlier than 1.02
  79.       you should ZAP the data file.
  80.    7. Insure that ALL RADCD support files are in the RADCD.EXE directory,
  81.       creating a dedicated directory for RADCD is recommended.
