- RACE.EXE; Version 2.02
-
- * A new option, Strict Date Checking, has been added to the
- Miscellaneous section of RACECFG. If this is set to YES, RACE will
- force you to enter a valid date in any of the user date fields and
- you will not be allowed to leave the field until you do so. If set to
- NO, you may enter ANYTHING and you may edit the hyphens if they should
- become overwritten with garbage characters.
-
- * RACE.HLP has been updated to reflect the proper RACE version in the
- "Info" topic.
-
- * Pressing CTRL-M to write a mailing list to disk now prompts you
- "Create mailing list?" and if Yes, it then prompts "Include LOCATION
- Field?" Many times, the full address, including location, is already
- in the three line address RA provides and including the separate
- location field is redundant.
-
- RACE.EXE; Version 2.01
-
- * CTRL-M to write a mailing list was also invoked by pressing <ENTER>.
- <ENTER> key presses are now properly filtered out.
-
- * The ALT-U function to display USERON statistics did not properly
- handle the *U macro info which provides the door stats to USERON.
-
- * Speeded up <V>alidation a bit. This does not apply to CTRL-V type
- validation which still must search for the user that matches the
- current answers.
-
- * <W>rite comment and <E>dit comment didn't work in validation.
-
- * All fields that were formerly limited to 64000 have now been
- extended to the full 65535 now allowed by RA.
-
- * Entering a user password now works somewhat like RAMGR. Pressing
- Ctrl-P brings up a window with the prompt "Enter a new password?" If
- you answer Y, you are prompted for the password. Pressing <ENTER> at
- this point without entering anything will set the password CRC to a
- value of -1. Next time the user calls, this will trigger RA into
- telling the user his password has expired and he must select a new
- password.
-
- * RACE now prompts "Save Changes? [Y/n]" if you hit <ESC> after editing
- a user record if changes were actually made. Note that editing a
- single field and then hitting <ESC> while still in that field aborts
- the changes.
-
- * When using the /U command line option, RACE no longer prompts "Quit
- y/n" when quiting from a single user screen back to the list screen.
- This prompt did not appear if RACE was configured (as opposed to
- forced with the command line switch) to come up in the list style
- screen.
