  1. If you are upgrading from a previous version just replace the old
  2. QRDB.EXE and QRDBMGR.EXE files with the new ones in this package.

  4. If you have type 3 Database files, use QRDBMgr to check Security levels.
  5. Add, Edit and Delete features have been added to the type 3 DataBase,
  6. and security level fields in QRDBMgr have been expanded to control
  7. access. One other thing on the type 3 DataBase field codes in QRDBMgr
  8. have also been changed to N,O,R and K. The old (D) code will be
  9. interperted as (O) in any existing files.

  18. QRDB is being supplied is being supplied in both Non-Fossil and Fossil
  19. versions. The fossil version is in QRDB_FOS.EXE and is included. Some
  20. BBS systems running under a Fossil have found that the non Fossil
  21. version won't work with their system. I run a QuickBBS system and use
  22. the Non-Fossil version. I have had reports from Max and RA sysops that
  23. required the Fossil version. The Fossil version won't allow you to
  24. hang up on a user, but you can always use that button on the modem.
