- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- REQUIREMENTS:
- The four (4) files in this archive require a patched version
- of BRUN40.EXE to be somewhere in your path, most likely C:\DOS.
-
- WHAT IT IS:
- Each one of these utilities are for placing the modem on or off hook
- from the DOS command line.
- Basically these are for BBS operators however they can prove themselves
- useful to others as well.
- Each C?.EXE is for a specific communications port. C1 is for com1 C2 is
- for com2 etc.
-
- HOW IT WORKS:
- When activated, for example, C2.EXE, will open the communications
- port to, generally the modem, and ask you to either send ATH1 or
- ATH0. what ever you type in is then sent to the modem.
- REMEMBER!, all that is needed here is either an ATH1 or ATH0. I don't
- recommend sending anything else!.
-
- DIRECTIONS:
- If your modem is on COM2, place C2.EXE in your path. When necessary
- to place the modem in a on-hook or off-hook state, simply type
- C2 and enter the appropriate command.
