- MT-Matrix Listing of [ALL] available Commands - (As provided by DEFAULT)
-
- ------------
- * PART 1 *
- ____________
-
-
- The following commands can be defined by the sysop by editing
- the COMMANDS.CNF file. REMEMBER that in order for MT-Matrix to properly
- translate the commands from this file correctly they must be entered
- as you want them to be used at the matrix prompt in ALL CAPS. To disable
- a command edit COMMANDS.CNF file and change the command name to lower case
- or place a 0 "Numeral Zero" instead of a WORD command.

- * PART 2 *
- ____________
-
-
- The following command is your SYSTEM password as defined in the
- Matrix.CNF file. If your system password as configured in Matrix.CNF
- file read "password" THEN typing "password" at the matrix prompt
- would invoke the TURBO Login feature and the caller would then be
- placed at the PCBoard Sign in prompts immediately without being asked
- for a system password.
-
- SYSPASSWORD <or whatever your system password is set to in the config file>

- * PART 3 *
- ____________
-
-
- The following commands are Smart Commands! In other words MT-Matrix
- is responsive to your configuration, if you examine the CNF files
- included with this product you will find entries where you can specify
- a DRIVE NAME or possibly a DIRECTORY an example is in the Matrix.CNF
- file an entry exists where it asks what to call your DRIVE C:, the
- default in this field is C: <which also means that your prompt should
- match but only for cosmetic reasons, your prompt is merely what the
- caller sees> So back to the above example where drive C: is the
- drive or dir *or also a submenu name* if you are not using the matrix
- to simulate the dos structure, now if you changed the entry from C:
- to something like \UTIL, then the commands DIR \UTIL, DIR C:\UTIL,
- CD \UTIL, CD\UTIL, CD \UTIL, CD C:\UTIL etc... etc... etc... will work
- as you have it configured! The default commands provided with this
- product have the drive identifier in the matrix.CNF file set up as C:
- following would be some of the commands you could use with the default
- provided configuration.
-
- C:
- CD C:
- CD \C:
- D:
- CD D:
- CD \D:
- DIR C:
- DIR C: /P
- DIR C: /W
- DIR D:

- DIR C /W
- DIR /W
- DIR/P
- DIR/W
- DIR D:
- DIR D

- DIR D:/W
-
- etc... etc... these would vary greatly depending on your configuration.

- All of the commands listed below are BURNED IN <cannot be modified> by
- the sysop. They will work regardless of what you have your configuration
- commands and options set too. Most of them really do not do anything,
- they are there basically to amuze the caller. Some do indeed do something
- and a listing and explanation of what most of these would do <if they do
- anything at all!> will follow after the commands listings.

-
-
- <COMMENT> <FEEDBAK>
-
- The above are all the same as the {sysop defined} FEEDBACK command. They
- have been built in, because we always wish to allow FEEDBACK from a caller
- so therefore they are there just for convinience, in case the caller
- overlooked in your MENU Dir the proper command, or by mistake mispelled
- the word FEEDBACK and entered FEEDBAK instead the command would still work
- and so would COMMENT.
-
- <FORMAT C:> <FORMAT D:> {not definable}
-
- <FORMAT> {definable sysop command}
-
- The FORMAT command will HANGUP on the Caller! BUT first it will display
- <if found in matrix path> the file -> FORMAT (for MONO) / FORMATG (for ANSI)
- or FORMATR (for RIP), if these files exist they will be displayed to the
- caller, and followed by that Matrix would hangup and record it to the
- matrix call log. Things here can get interesting, YOU already know that
- the file FORMAT is displayed to the caller, so here you could maybe write
- a PPE which simulated a DOS FORMAT or something similar, and then just
- use the FORMAT / FORMATG or FORMATR files to load your creation PPE! as
- in !d:\pcb\matrix\format.ppe, place a line similar to this in the this file
- and then the caller would see whatever your PPE was programmed to do. ALL
- display files <and others> within MT-Matrix have this capability, which
- makes this product as big as the sysops imagination, as almost any procedure
- in the matrix can be livened up!
-
- <VERSION> <VER>
-
- The VERSION command displays the current version of MT-Matrix and the DATE
- There is a short version of this command VER, they both do the same.
-
- <OTHERS>
-
- Most other commands are self explanatory, and as mentioned previously they
- are there to just amuze the caller, most will only display a message such
- as "Command cannot be used" would is diplayed to callers which use the DEL
- command etc... Any other input entered by the caller at the matrix prompt
- will result in a message similar to the following;
- "(whatever) Invalid command or filename"
-
- <eof>
-
