- INTRODUCTION
-
- TimGraph and DayGraph will produce two Maximus-style .BBS files that show your
- system's caller usage by days and by time respectively. The best way to
- understand what I mean is to run it.
-
-
- INSTALLATION
-
- Simply run each of these utilities after a caller logs off your BBS. They each
- require the LASTUSxx.BBS file so ensure that you don't delete it until you
- have run both TimGraph and DayGraph.
-
-
- USAGE
-
- The command line for both DayGraph and TimGraph is as follows.
-
- xxxGRAPH <lastusxx.bbs> <output_file> [data_file]
-
- The <output_file> is the .BBS file that will be produced with your system's
- stats in it. The .BBS extension is not assumed so be sure to specify the full
- (path and) filename. You can display these .BBS files to your users by adding
- a menu option in MENUS.CTL like this.
-
- Display_File \Max\Misc\DayGraph.Bbs Normal "DayGraph"
- Display_File \Max\Misc\TimGraph.Bbs Normal "TimGraph"
-
- If you have more than one line, and you wish to compile stats for each line
- separately, you can also specify the name of the data file as the third command
- line parameter.
-
-
- RESETTING
-
- To reset your stats, simple delete the data files for both TimGraph and/or
- DayGraph and they will start a new data file on their own.
-
-
- HOW DO THEY WORK
-
- Both TimGraph and DayGraph read the LASTUSxx.BBS file to determine when the
- user who just logged off, logged on. Then each will create a new .BBS file
- with all the data in the data file as well as the new caller's data.
-
-
- UPGRADING FROM 2.30 OR PRIOR
-
- You must delete you old data files as they are not compatible.
-
