  1. There has been a major change in the @MACRO names from  FeatherNet BBS
  2. v4.2a  to  v5.0.    We have put together  this  utility  to  ease  the
  3. converstion process.

  5. MACROCVT will take out the OLD @Macro name and replace it with the NEW
  6. @Macro name.  This will work on ALL types of screens, ie:  ANSI, XCODE
  7. ASCII or RIP.

  10. The four files included within this packet are:
  11.  
  12.         MACROCVT.EXE = The executable for the conversion.
  13.         MACRO.DAT    = The Old/New @MACRO names database.
  14.         CVTMACRO.BAT = A fancy little .BAT file to automate
  15.                        the conversion.
  16.         README.1ST   = This file! (Your reading it)

  19. Place ALL files in your FNET directory.

  21. The syntax for execution is as follows:

  23.         MACROCVT <full path & filename>
  24.  
  25.                 Example:   MACROCVT D:\FNET\DISP\HELLO

  27. You may use a text editor  and edit the enclosed .BAT file for ease of
  28. operation.  See the example within the .BAT file itself.
