- Welcome to the Internet Connection!
-
- This program allows you to enter extended length Internet addresses not
- usually accepted under normal BBS systems. You may enter up to 70 characters
- for the 'To:' address. This must be a valid Internet style address, or your
- message will die in empty space.
-
- You may often hear the term 'Information Superhighway' and not know what it
- actually means. This is a term that almost always means the Internet.
-
- This great information system spans our entire globe, giving world-wide
- access to all beings, mortals and immortals alike! Thus, allowing everyone
- to communicate via electronic mail (e-mail).
-
- A valid internet address usually begins with a person's name, followed by
- the 'at' symbol, @. After the @ symbol, the address of the computer system
- the user is associated with, or frequents, is entered. An example would be:
-
- john.doe@omega.com (notice that you use '.' instead of spaces!)
