  3.      If you would like to begin networking with other Bulletin Boards,
  4.      we would like to recommend the HCS Network. In addition to carrying
  5.      many fine Forums, the HCS Network carries the GAP Q&A Forum - GAP
  6.      Development Company's own Networked Support Forum, and many other
  7.      very interesting conferences for all!  It is open to all BBS types
  8.      that support the QWK/REP mail transfer standard.

  15.      To get  started, call  the board and leave a message to the Sysop
  16.      stating that you would like to have Network Status. Remember that
  17.      you can  not Network  until the Sysop of the Hub or Node that you
  18.      call gives you Net Status.  Once you have left your information
  19.      on HCS, you will be assigned a HUB/NODE and given net status.
  20.  
  21.      The Sysop  will leave you a message telling you that you have Net
  22.      Status and may also assign you a time slot (a time of day for you
  23.      to call  to transfer  mail). If  you are assigned a time slot you
  24.      should call  only during  that time  to do  your mail run. If you
  25.      need to call at other times to transfer mail, be sure not to call
  26.      during some  other node's  time slot, otherwise you might prevent
  27.      that node from successfully completing his/her mail run.  You will
  28.      be given "Private Net node" access and the number.
