- │▐▐▐▐ WHAT IS IT ?
- └───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- A few months back i started programming, i already had a
- BBS for some time and i could never find a real good Last
- Callers and In/Outbound Mail Calls Statistics program,
- but at that time i had absolutly no knowledge of structures
- etc., so i could not write my own. But now at this time i
- have that knowledge. All i wanted to do is write a Last
- Callers and In/Outbound Mail history Statistics program,
- but at this moment it is more than that, because i missed
- something in the other Statistics Programs (You know those
- program that create very nice .ASC, .ANS. and .AVT screens
- of your best downloaders, Best callers etc. Well RSG told
- me that about 72% of my users had called more than once.
- But i was curios to know how many people have called more
- than 10 times. At this moment FSSG tells me how many % of
- my users have called more than 10 times. About 50 % calls
- between 1 and 6 times to my BBS, and that is something
- RSG does not tell me. And i must say that i find that kind
- of information very interesting. It also tells me how many
- users wrote more than 1 message etc. I must say the program
- has a long way to go, since there are a lot of features that
- are not yet implanted, but they will in future versions.
-
- Just check it out, and i hope you will like the program.
-
- The program is very well tested under different circumstances
- no bugs where found, but this is no guarantee that there
- are none. When you find one please let me know.

- └───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- In no event shall Fantasy Software nor Pascal Van Rossum
- be liable to you or anyone else for any special, incidental,
- consequential, indirect or similar damages due to the use of
- this program even if one of our support-sites has advised
- you to use the program in a special way. The program is
- provided as it is, and you use it on your own risk.
-
- The exe files nor the Doc files may be changed in any way.
- Neither are you allowed to generate a keymaker with a patch/
- key generator. The only key you are allowed to use for this
- program is a key made for you by one of the registration
- sites.
-
- ┌────
- │▐▐▐▐ INSTALLATION
- └──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- Well this is very simple.
-
- You run the program F-Instal.exe, you shouldn't have any
- trouble with that. So no need to explain it.
-
- ! Note: You can use the parameter /h if you ONLY want to
- ! show the Last Human Callers.
-
- ! Note: You can use the parameter /i if you ONLY want to
- ! shot the In/Outbound Mail History
-
- ! Note: You can use the parameter /li if you ONLY want to
- ! show the Last Callers and the Last In/Outbound Mail calls.
-
- If you run Remote Access 1.11 you must get the
- FSSG.EXE of the RA111.ZIP archive. If you run Remote
- Access 2.00Γ you should use the FSSG.exe from the
- RA200.ZIP arhive.
-
- You are able to make your own FSSG.A?? file (Ansi and/or
- Avatar) so that you can make it in your own BBS style for
- example. You can put a FSSG.ANS in every textfile directory
- you have, so you can create different FSSG.ANS files for
- the different languages.
-
- It seems that Remote Access 2.00Γ has a bug (several ;-))
- with the msginfo.bbs. It sometimes doesn't show the correct
- number of messages. So it could happen that FSSG says the you
- have only 53 messages in you messagebase, while that is not
- true. I cannot do anything about this, go and complain at
- Andrew's Place ;-)
-
- How about the limit Cfg files?
- ──────────────────────────────
-
- You would have to write down 21 numbers like this:
-
- 1 (left Limit line 1)
- 1 (Right Limit line 1) E.g. for caller statistics
- 2 (left Limit line 2)
- 5 (right limit line 2)
- etc.
- Until you reach the left limit of line 11)
- You do not need to specify the right limit for this
- line since it will only calculate the users that have
- done more than you specify for the left limit in line 11
-
- You can also use Limits.exe, a special written 'editor'.
-
- The program has been tested under DesqView, OS/2, Windows,
- MS-Dos 6.0,Ms-Dos 5.0, under Lantastic and other environments
- but this is no guarantee that it will work for you. Please
- send me a netmail or Snail Mail if you encounter any problem.
-
- The Best 10 Downloaders and Uploaders might be messed up
- a little. When this is the case you might want to run
- fssg without *M.
