  5.       Welcome and thank you for being interested of the first public version
  6.       of FrontDoor Manager. First of all please make sure that all files in
  7.       _FILES.LST exist. By doing that and comparing the file sizes and dates
  8.       you can make sure that you have received the distribution archive and
  9.       all the files are valid.
  10.  
  11.       Please note that this version is a public GAMMA version which means that
  12.       this version is not official, but a beta-like version available for
  13.       everyone. In the future GAMMA versions will be available only to the
  14.       registered users. Beta versions are never public.
  15.  
  16.       FrontDoor Manager is Shareware and this version is the Evaluation
  17.       version which gives you some time to test the product before deciding
  18.       whether to use it or not. Although this version is a GAMMA version
  19.       registrations are already accepted. You can find more information about
  20.       registering from REGISTER.ZIP.

  22.       The documentation will be probably changed before the actual release of
  23.       the version 1.00.SW and there might also be some new features
  24.       implemented. If you have some suggestions please send them in right now
  25.       so you might even see them in 1.00.SW. The key code which you receive
  26.       when you register will work also with the official version 1.00.SW.

  28.       An international help conference FDM_HELP is available to both
  29.       registered and unregistered users. It can be freely distributed with
  30.       FidoNet AKA's. To distribute FDM_HELP in another network please contact
  31.       Thomas Raehalme, FINCOMM SYSTEMS. You can find the nearest link from any
  32.       of the local registration sites. All the registration sites will try to
  33.       establish a link with the FidoNet backbone so that the area could be
  34.       distributed as easy as possible with FidoNet.
