  9.    FastVote is a colorful and easy to use voting program written for
  10. Fido, Opus, QuickBBS, RemoteAccess, WildCat, RBBS, WWIV, PCBoard and
  11. other bulletin board systems. It is one of the most powerful voting
  12. systems available simply because it has a lot of useful features and
  13. remains very configurable and expandable.

  78.   FastVote v3.30 is a minor update. Numerous small bug fixes and minor
  79. changes were made, as well as added desqview code. The main documentation
  80. file has not been updated, but the registration files have in order to
  81. include a new support/registration site in the United Kingdom. Also, support
  82. for registration through major credit cards through PsL's 800 number is also
  83. available. For details, take a look at REGISTER.DOC. For more information on
  84. updates to the code, take a look at FASTVOTE.NEW.

  86. UPGRADING
  87. =========
  88.    If you are upgrading from version 2.x or 1.x please unzip the included
  89. zipfile FVUPDATE.ZIP and run the accompanying .EXE file. To update from
  90. an earlier v3.xx release, just copy the new FASTVOTE.EXE, FASTVOTE.ANS and
  91. FASTVOTE.TXT files over the old.

  93. FAST SETUP (new users)
  94. ======================
  95.    If you'd like to skip the documentation and get right to the setup,
  96. you're going to miss a lot of the unobvious features, as well as
  97. command line parameters. But, if you insist, the first thing to do is
  98. edit the FASTVOTE.CFG file to meet your needs. This can be done either
  99. with FVSETUP or a text editor. It should be perfectly self-explanatory.
  100. Afterwards, it is recommended that you run the program from your BBS
  101. using an exit-to-DOS door function unless a DOS shell would supply from
  102. 200-250k of memory.
  103. The command line should be:

  105.                         FASTVOTE.CFG [config.cfg] /PC:\BBS
  106.  
  107.   Where C:\BBS is where your user info file is stored.
  108.   Where [config.cfg] is the optional name of the config file;
  109.         (default is FASTVOTE.CFG).
