  14. Excalibur is the new remote bulletin board software system which
  15. runs entirely under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Windows/NT. Excalibur BBS 
  16. software is the first true 100% GUI (graphical user interface) and

  100. Excalibur has 3 methods of subscription support 
  101.     A) File Cost System - Enter an initial credit amount into the
  102.    user record.  Each file for downloading is assigned a cost or
  103.    price, when user download that file the user account is debited 
  104.    that amount.

  106.     B) Byte Ratio - Define a byte or file ratio, such as a 10:1
  107.    ratio.   A 10:1 ratio would allow the user to download only 10
  108.    files for every 1 file uploaded.

  110.     C) Calendar Period - Define any time period to allow the user
  111.    access to the system, i.e., a 6 month subscription would allow
  112.    the user full access for  6 months then reduce the access     once
  113.    the 6 month period has expired.

  115. Powerful Sysop Utilities Included  
  116.     Excalibur includes a powerful maintenance and setup program. 
  117.    For example,  the sysop can move files from the Uploads
  118.    Directory into the Games Directory by simply "Dragging and
  119.    Dropping" the files into the desired directory.  Other features
  120.    include the ability to embed GIF (89a) comments into GIF
  121.    files, add extended file descriptions of any length which can
  122.    be viewed and scrolled by the BBS user and much more.  Also
  123.    include are    robust user and message database editors featuring
  124.    drag and drop maintenance capabilities.
