- This is a very short doc file, as I feel you all should just about
- know already how a language file works. EastTag has a language file almost
- identical to that of Remote Access's (TM) Language file. All the functions
- are listed at the bottom of the screen.
-
- To edit a language prompt, use your cursor keys to navigate your
- way around the language file, highlight the prompt you wish to edit, and
- press ENTER. You will first be asked which keys you would like to have as
- the hotkey, edit that to your liking. After pressing ENTER a second time,
- you will beable to edit the prompt. Remember to have the same key high-
- lighted as the key you designated as the hot-key.
-
- Changing colors in the language editor, is simple. If you hit
- ALT-C you will be brought to a color chart. Again, use your arrow keys to
- navigate your way around, until you find the color you like, and press
- ENTER. That will change the normal colors for that line. Next to edit the
- highlighted color, when editing the prompt, you will see a "" symbol.
- This represents a color change also. To get this, Place the cursor where
- you want the color change and hit CTRL-P then CTRL-K. It will show as a
- white "K", this means you did it right. Next place a "[" bracket and then
- you will need to follow the chart below to get your color characters. Then
- just a plain CTRL-P CTRL-K ] will change back to the default line color.

- │ └ This changes back to default.
- │
- └ This will change to Yellow.
-
- Also in this version, if you get confused editing the prompt, and would
- like to see the default, look at the top of the screen. This will show you
- what the default prompt is, and what your prompt currently looks like. To
- copy the default prompt, press ALT-D. Also on all lines with a hotkey, if
- you press ALT-K, you will be able to change the hotkey from there.
-
- Also, on some lines you will notice special characters. These
- expand to different things, and can ONLY be used on that line. These are
- as follows.
-
- Line number 15

-
- Line Number 37
- Extracting @ from # Please Wait...
-
- @ - Will be replaced with the file to be extracted.
- # - Will be replaced with the file that the extracted file
- is extracted from.
-
-
- To bring up a little help screen at any time, press F1. This gives you a
- little help screen to help you along.
-
- I think with this little bit of info, you can manage your way
- around the language editor. If you need anymore help, refer to the Remote
- Access (TM) docs. It's basically the same.
