  7.  There's no beating around the bush here, this is the info you want to know:

  9.  You can test this game locally IMMEDIATELY by running "CASINO /L" !!!

  11.  Shareware limitations:
  12.    One obnoxious nag screen at start-up with 5 second delay.
  13.    15 minute maximum time limit in the game.

  15.    Please note that there is no evaluation time limit, keep it up until it's
  16.    registered or completely useless to you!

  28.  2) Run CRCSETUP.EXE to customize the config file for your system.

  34.      casino /Pc:\bbs      [execute The Casino- drop file is in c:\bbs]

  46.  command line parameter.    example: "CASINO /PC:\TRIBBS"
  47.  That is...   "CASINO /P" + the path to the drop file with no space.

  55.       2. Comports 1-4 supported.
  56.       3. Selectable port addresses.
  57.       4. DESQview-aware routines.
  58.       5. Detects Rip and adjusts font to full screen.
  59.       6. Lock baud and comm baud rates to 115,200.
  60.       7. Built in Windows, WindowsNT, OS/2, DOS 5.0+ time slice releasing.
  61.       8. Fossil support to 38,400 using normal fossil calls.
  62.       9. Fossil support to 115,200 using extended fossil calls.  Use XFossil
  63.          for any fossils (X00 or BNU) over 38,400. This option does not open
  64.          or close the fossil but merely writes to it the way it is.
  65.      10. The local video screen can be toggled off to save processing time
  66.          in multitasking windows or to give some user privacy when competing
  67.          in games against the sysop.
  68.      11. Multiple config files can be accessed by a command line parameter.
  69.      12. Will work with OR without the presence of a fossil.

  76.   Castle Rock Casino supports several parameters which may be specified on
  77.   the command line. The following is a list of those parameters; many of 
  78.   these can be set in CRCSETUP.EXE and are not necessary as a parameter:
  79.  
  80.     "/Cx"   (where x is 1-4) This specifies a comport number. Some BBS
  81.             software does not create door information files (drop files) that
  82.             contain the comport number. If your BBS does have the comport
  83.             listed in the drop file then there is no need for this parameter.
  84.             The default is comport 0, local mode.
  85.  
  86.     "/E"    Expanded Memory Specification. If your system has over 1 Meg of
  87.             memory, then you may have some available. The Casino can utilize
  88.             EMS to improve game performance and reduce conventional memory 
  89.             requirements. This command will tell The Casino to use EMS memory
  90.             to hold its overlay buffer. Otherwise, disk area may be used to
  91.             hold this buffer. This needs a memory manager when enabled, and 
  92.             is compatible with DESQview.

  94.     "/L"    This tells The Casino to start up in LOCAL mode. This is good for
  95.             testing or when a Sysop just wants to "try out" the door without
  96.             messing with his BBS setup. The "/L" mode will ask the user for
  97.             his name and run the door in local mode.
  98.  
  99.     "/Nx"   (where x is 1-9) This specifies a node number. Some BBS software
  100.             supports multinode environments in which you must know the node
  101.             number of the drop file to use. For an example, RBBS-PC uses
  102.             DORINFOx.DEF. If you used "/N2", The Casino would use DORINFO2.DEF.

  104.     "/Mx"   (where x is up to 2 filename valid characters) Used to specify
  105.             one of multiple config files. If you have created more than one
  106.             CASINO.CFG file, i.e. CASINO1.CFG, CASINO2.CFG, etc. for each node
  107.             or network PC, then you can select the one you want by using the
  108.             /M parameter.
  109.             Example: "/M2" will force The Casino to use CASINO2.CFG.
  110.  
  111.     "/Px"   This specifies the path to the drop files.
  112.             For example: "/PC:\WILDCAT\WCWORK\NODE1" would tell The Casino to 
  113.             look for the drop file in C:\WILDCAT\WCWORK\NODE1. If this is left
  114.             out, The Casino assumes the drop file is local.
  115.  
  116.     "/V"    This command tells The Casino not to show any display on the local
  117.             screen. Only a colored screen with a message will be displayed.
  118.             The cursor will not move, as it will be turned off. This saves a 
  119.             little processing time on multitasking systems.
  120.  
  121.     "/W"    This flags the program that a network is present even though no
  122.             multitaskers are detected. This is useful if the door is run on
  123.             a network such as Novell that doesn't use multitaskers.

  131.  or by running out of time, a file named ERROR.LOG will be generated holding
  132.  information that may help us track down the origin of the problem.
