- EXPL: Running DreamLOG is quite simple. It displays a screen with the
- last 10 callers to your board, what node, where they called from
- (if your dropfile supports that option, otherwise it will read
- Somewhere USA), and the baud rate. Ex:
-
- Node Name Calling From Baud
- ---------------------------------------------------
-
- 1 Unca Scrooge Indy, IN 14400
-
- ---------------------------------------------------
-
- Trust me... the program version looks MUCH better than above!!!
-
- It can be run as a logon event, a door, or a command from one
- of the BBS Menus. For example.. as a logon event, in logon.bat
- (or whatever you logon batch file is) do this.
-
- blah (* other junk ;) *)
- blah (* " " *)
- blah (* " " *)
- c: (* Go to the drive DreamLOG is on *)
- cd \wwiv\log (* " " dir " " in *)
- dreamlog dreamlog.cfg (* Run it *)
- cd \wwiv (* Go to BBS main dir *)
- blah
- blah
-
- I, personally, run it as a door... I have enuff logon stuff
- the way it is, but its up to you where you run it! It is
- designed as a logon event, but its your board!
-
- If the user has ansi, border.ans will be displayed, then the
- info will be drawn into the border. If the user is non-ansi, then
- a plain-ascii version is displayed.
-
- BORDs: There are a few borders included with the pgm. Rename the one you
- wish to use to BORDER.ANS and copy it to the same directory that
- DreamLOG is in. You can also create your own border if you wish,
- but MAKE SURE the corners line up with the originals, else your
- display will be off.
-
- SETUP: With SETUP.EXE you create the config file, choose the colors you
- wish to use... each vertical column can have its own color!
- You also choose the number of seconds you wish to delay at the end
- so the user can have time to read the display.
-
-
-
- That's about all. Hopefully I didn't forget anything important ;)
-
-
-
- Thanx for using DreamLOG!!!!
