- BULLS Bulletin Maker v1.2
-
- FREEWARE
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Legal stuff:
-
- there is none, do whatever you like with it, but I'm not resposible for
- whatever it does to anybody, or anything.
-
- AND IT'S FREE, so that means, you don't have to send me anything if you want
- to use it, but it'd be nice to send me a postcard, call my BBS or e-mail me.
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Now to the program.
-
- Bulls is a bulletin maker designed for any BBS, that can display ascii, or
- ansi files. when you first start the program, it's gonna look for the .CFG
- file in the current dir. If it won't find it, it will ask you what's your
- BBS name, the path to ascii ansi files, the default path,
- like (c:\ra\txtfiles), then for an editor you'd like to use for editting
- the bulletins. The default here is EDIT.COM, This is the command line
- BULLS is gonna use to call the editor, after this it will add the file name,
- not the filename of the bulletin, but a temporary file (like BULLS.0). Edit
- this file and save it, and you will be back in BULLS.
-
- The usage is very simple, start BULLS, use the editor to type a bulletin in,
- than choose a heading, change the heading text, if you leave it the
- way it is it's gonna be current date. then save the bulletin in a file.
- When a file exists, Bulls is gonna ask you if you'd like to overwrite it
- or add the new bulletin to the beginning or the end of the file.
-
- That's about it for how to use it, very simple.
-

-
- History.
-
- Not much history, I needed something to create news and bulletins in and
- all the other bulletin makers vere shareware, so I made my own.
- Three versions were released, with mostly bugfixes. v1.1 fixed a bug, whuch
- forgot to put a linefeed in the file, and v1.2 fixed this bug, in the saving
- of bulletins into the beginnig of files. Now it all works. At least on
- my board.
