  3.        PUBLIC LOCAL MAIL - These are messages that can be read by
  4.                everyone that calls this BBS, but are not available on
  5.                any other BBS. Since these messages are "public" in
  6.                nature (ie, they can be read by anyone, not just the
  7.                person to whom it is addressed), they are especially
  8.                useful for taking part in "round-table" discussions.
  9.                Anyone can jump in at any time to make their own
  10.                contributions to the conversation.  Just because a
  11.                message in one of these areas isn't addressed to you,
  12.                doesn't mean you shouldn't reply to them.  Instead,
  13.                don't hesitate to join in!  The only messages that
  14.                aren't intended for you to read or reply to on the BBS
  15.                are the ones that you won't be able to read anyway!
