  5. Distribution permissions/requirements:

  7. BBS systems: No permission or notification required to carry our
  8. programs. PLEASE DO NOT RENAME THE ARCHIVES! Thanks for the help! 
  9. Please name the archives you use to distribute this program as
  10. BBSL101.*

  12. Where "*" refers to the archivers extension, such as ZIP, PAK, 
  13. LZH or ARJ.

  15. If you operate a multi-line BBS and would like to be a support 
  16. site for this software, please let us know.
  17.  
  18. Please do not add or leave out files; but BBS systems should feel 
  19. free to add a "zip" comment to the program.
  20.  
  21. Non-profit user groups & computer clubs: No permission or
  22. notification is required to add us to your library! However, if
  23. you do tell us that you are carrying the program, we'll be glad
  24. to send you the updates.

  26. Commercial vendors: You must obtain our permission to distribute.
  27. This permission is routinely granted, even if you send a post
  28. card. We require permission so that we know you're out there and
  29. so that we can send you upgrades, as soon as they are tested! We
  30. constantly find vendors advertising YEARS OLD versions of this
  31. program (which is not good business for either of us!) who we
  32. have never heard of! Please (and it is the law <grin>) let us
  33. know that you want to carry the program and the latest version of
  34. the program will wing its way to you each time that it is
  35. updated. (If we sent this disk directly to you with a letter 
  36. asking you to carry the product, you have permission. However, 
  37. please let us know you are carrying the product so that you will 
  38. be ensured of receiving updates immediately- post cards are 
  39. fine.)

  50. full annotated text of government regulations and nuts and bolts 
  51. explanations of the law. Program's contains information vitally
