  1. Whats in store for RASIS ??

  3.  NOTE:     Now that RASIS 2.02 is out, there will be
  4.            less delay in releasing the next version.  I would
  5.            guess you can expect, baring unforseen delays, a new
  6.            release of RASIS in 3 to 4 months at a maximum.
  7.            No Guarentees though.... <smile>

  9.  o Next version should see some fairly major renovation on the menu
  10.    structure.  Some of the planned features call for a better grouping
  11.    of items, so the "menu trees" will change somewhat.

  13.  o Had planned on Context Sensitive Help system, utilizing the
  14.    RASIS.DOC file, but did not make it for this release.
  15.    Should be in the next one, though Im not really sure this is
  16.    needed, as once you get the hang of it, its really simple..

  18.    But perhaps one for SetupSis is called for.  Your response?

  20.  o A FULL Message Stats Report,
  21.    Showing Total Messages, Total Echo/Net/Local areas, JAM Stats and more!

  25.  o The SisAnsi module will have a hotkey to call your favorite Ansi Editor
  26.    while viewing. Either from the picklist window, the display screen,
  27.    or possibly both.

  29.  o The Editor Menu will add an option to Edit your RA Q-A files
  30.    from within RASIS.  I wanted this in 2.02, but forgot to implement
  31.    BEFORE I did the upgrade program, now it will have to wait...
  32.    Requires more changes to RASIS.CFG.
  33.    Or, I may have a menu just for questionaires and answer files...

  35.  o When SetUpSis creates a NEW configuration file, some of the required
  36.    information on paths/filenames is pulled from the CONFIG.RA file.
  37.    With the next version (2.03) the UPGRADE program will fill in new
  38.    fields with info from CONFIG.RA if possible.

  40.  o Macro support, run macro in RASIS, also load macro at startup.
  41.    ie: View specific user record, UUUS*rn  would go
  42.    USER - USER REPORTS - USER RECORD - SPECIFY USER
  43.    then insert the NameMacro for Rand Nowell, and generate report.

  45.  o Plan to add some more filters for reports/messages etc.
  46.    Possible are: Days Since Last Call >=< ###

  51.  o RSU - Sysop Util Program, will of course have some more modules
  52.    added to it.

  54.  o A "Report Stack", save a list of most run reports to file, and
  55.    automatically run these with a command line option. (To FILE/PRN)

  58.  o Will "probably" supply a user interface, for RSU from within RASIS.
  59.    Something similar to the Norton Integrator....

  61.  o On large systems, with lots of file/message areas, reports can get rather
  62.    large, and the internal viewer may not be able to handle the complete
  63.    file.  Next version will allow you to specify a text viewer, just
  64.    like the regualr "Viewer" to be used instead of the internal one,
  65.    should you run into this problem.

  67.    During the UPGRADE process, this will be set to the External Viewer,
  68.    if one has been specified. Then can be edited if desired.

  70.  o Looking at, working on, a complete User Validation section for RASIS,
  71.    ie: View the New User Questionaire, verify phones,
